initiative - noun

an introductory act or step; leading action: to take the initiative in making friends.

motivation –noun

1. the act or an instance of motivating.

2. the state or condition of being motivated.

3. something that motivates; inducement; incentive.



ambition - noun

an earnest desire for some type of achievement or distinction, as power, honor, fame, or wealth, and the willingness to strive for its attainment: Too much ambition caused him to be disliked by his colleagues.
